friends,

rather than have your bikes gather dust at home because of the unpredictable weather we are having, grease up your bearings and head up maarat. the trip under a heavy downpour is a welcome respite from the usual hot and humid and iiicky feeling one gets during a typical weekend ride.

however be mindful of the ff:newly graded and compacted earth is very slippery when exposed to the rains. this means that one cannot just pedal away unmindful of the terrain one is traversing. next, always ride slowly in residential communities. visibility is limited when riding in the rains so make sure that your speed is within the braking capacity of your bike.

always bring your water container and helmet. enjoy.
